At Liberty Research we are experts at evaluating and debugging high speed digital PC Board designs. We have over 20 years of experience designing boards and attaching sockets and connectors and validating the complete performance.
With the approach of the 15Gb/s SERDES, the complex DDR2 & DDR3 interfaces, the noise generated in QDR systems; it is crucial to have Signal Integrity evaluation of boards during the board design phase to prevent intractable problems after the board is fabricated.
We Offer Validations
Many of our customers have years of layout and board design experience. But, with the new bus architectures and high speeds, customers are looking for guidance in validating their high speed or complex designs. In addition, many of our customers boards have test sockets or connectors attached which often will cause a problem as witnessed by increased jitter, power rail collapse or Rise Time degradation.
We Simulate
At Liberty Research, we don’t design or layout the boards, we simulate them and we can help fix them. We work with your board engineers or your service bureau in the early stages to review the design goals and to setup constraints, material selections, via options and trace rules and power plane guidelines. We will do simulation of the board, sockets and connectors to guide the process.
